CyberHawaii and the

Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA)

proudly announce the launch of the

2025 CyberHawaii/CISA Fortify Cybersecurity Education Series

CyberHawaii and the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) are proud to announce the 2025 Fortify Cybersecurity Education Series, a series of online and in-person sessions providing practical information to Hawaii businesses and other organizations to improve their defenses against cyber-attacks, even for those that do not have a dedicated IT or cybersecurity team.

These sessions are free to any Hawaii business or resident who is interested in improving their cybersecurity defenses. These sessions are brought to you by CyberHawaii, the Cybersecurity & Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) as well as other government agencies such as the FBI and Hawaii Office of Homeland Security.

Topics

This year’s series will focus on the following topics:

  • Human Elements of Cybersecurity
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) – a Zero Trust journey
  • Vulnerability Management
  • Security on Demand
  • Incident Response

Format

Each of these topics will be covered in two sessions. The first session will be held online and provide information on threats and approaches to defend against them. You’ll receive materials for your team to assess your organization's readiness against the threats you’ll learn about in the session.

In the second session, held about a month later, you will be invited to discuss your organization’s readiness based on the materials provided to you and your plans to address any gaps.

Moderators will facilitate this interactive session designed to enable participants to freely exchange information in a safe learning environment to help each other learn. This session will be in person with a remote attendance option.
