Cybersecurity Exercises

Start the new year off right by preparing for cyber incidents!

January 27 - 31, 2025

The Hawaii State Office of Homeland Security (OHS) is sponsoring a series of cybersecurity exercises to help you prevent, respond to, and recover from a cyber incident on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island from January 27 to 31, 2025.

Schedule:

January 27: Big Island

January 28: Oahu

January 30: Kauai

January 31: Maui

Ideal for state and local government representatives as well as those in the private sector who will potentially respond to a cyber incident. This includes professionals involved with IT, critical infrastructure, emergency management, law enforcement, healthcare, and other fields.

Email Nick Matthews for more details.

These exercises will test and validate a newly developed statewide cyber incident response plan template and is aligned with the priorities established in the Statewide Cybersecurity Strategy and Implementation Plan.

There will also be a series of informational presentations from state and federal cybersecurity experts, who will provide updates on Hawaii’s statewide cyber planning efforts, the State grant program, the OHS Cyber Disruption Plan, and services available from the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).
