Mobile Device & Remote Access Management

The COVID-19 pandemic brought widespread acceptance of remote working. This trend has continued and has led to increased efficiency for many businesses and more flexible work schedules for employees. Working outside of a company’s traditional information systems network without security controls; however, has opened the door to new risks for organizations.

This presentation addresses the critical issue of mobile device security in an era where smart phones and tablets are central to both personal and professional life. We'll explore the growing threats to these devices and provide actionable strategies to protect sensitive data. Key topics include strong authentication, app security, data protection, network safety, device management, and phishing awareness. Current statistics and practical strategies will provide you a clear understanding of mobile security risks and give you a concrete set of best practices that can be easily implemented.

We’ll also discuss how to effectively manage remote access and what businesses need to look out for whenever employees, vendors or other entities connect through a company’s firewall. Access control, authentication, multi-factor authentication, network controls, VPN, endpoint security and Zero Trust are some of the topics that will be addressed during the presentation.
